It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

the struggles are apples and oranges IMO, the struggle is the same. Only the scale is different.

So bring considered 3/5 of a person is the same as not being able to get married? I'm referring to the struggle for rights. Hence, my reference to ancient times. Hell even women had to fight for the right to vote. Gays civil rights is linked to marriage and the benefits/privileges associated with it. You are smoking good stuff if you believe the struggles for rights were the same
I am referring, once again, to the path to achieving civil right / goals of the group. Not referring to Blacks as it is today.

Seems like everyone here says they are okay with it. I wonder why its such a big deal then? Probably due to the lack of fundy Christians in PP membership. Ya' know, the kind that don't go fishing on Sunday.

I have no issues with it. They're openly accepted in the military. If you can bleed for the country you deserve all the right guaranteed its citizens

I wonder what the offspring's offspring will have for a last name? Maybe take a page out of the Mexican naming format? New adventures. Cool.

"If your church still uses Starbucks, then your pastor is a friend of the world" Andrew said.
What is bad about this? I thought being a friend of the world just might be an ok thing. Maybe if I stop for some Satan Juice (hellova name for a new product) @ Starbucks, one of Satan's minions there will explain it. I asked my wife if she felt the scantity of our marriage was compromised by the gay marriage law. She said after almost 40 years married to me, she can put up with most anything.

Dave - it isnt ok with this dude apperantly .....
Pastor: Boycott Starbucks for supporting gay rights By AMY ROLPH Seattlepi.com Published: Feb 2, 2012 at 12:58 PM PST SEATTLE -- A Christian pastor is calling on Christians all over the nation to boycott Starbucks as long as the Seattle company continues to support gay rights. The ban on Starbucks comes from Steven Andrew, president of USA Christian Ministries. Andrew called on Christians to stop drinking Starbucks coffee as long as the company continues to support gay rights.
You might think "haters of God" is pretty strong language, but it gets stronger. Andrew goes on to say "Starbucks can follow Satan if they want to." Just don't drink their Satan juice, according to Andrew. "Haters for God" aren't a damn bit better than "Haters of God". Haters suck! If there is a God, both of them will end up in the same eternal resting spot. As for the original question, I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that two Cougars can get married...

She said after almost 40 years married to me, she can put up with most anything. Reminds me of story of the interview with the couple married for 50 years. Interviewer to man, "To what do you attribute 50 years of marital bliss?" Man "Most of the time I didn't have a gun in the house." Interviewer to womna, "After 50 years do you still love him?" Woman, "No, but I'm used to him."
