IM FROM SPOKANE AND WITH MY EXPERIENCES' ON ROOSEVELT IT CAN PRODUCE SOME DANDY TROUT IN SOME QUANTITY FROM ABOUT MARCH UNTIL MAY OR JUNE. I FOCUS MY FISHING IN THE HAWK CREEK / SEVEN BAYS AREA USING A SHALLOW DIVING CRANK BAIT(RIPPIN MINNOW,RAPALA) WITH FLOUROCARBON LINE ON THE SURFACE TROLLED AT A HIGH SPEED UP TO 5MPH, AND WITH AT LEAST 100FT OF LINE OUT.THIS TACTIC WORKS IN THE COLDER MONTHES WHEN FISH ARE NEAR THE SURFACE. WHEN IT WARMS UP PUT THAT RIG AS DEEP AS YOU CAN OR TRY A TROLLING FLY TIPPED WITH A WORM. IM SURE YOU COULD FIND RESULTS IN THE KETTLE FALLS AREA TOO WITH THESE RIGUPS.

I am heading over to the gifford area to fish this coming weekend, any tips or anything that is working right now for bows, kokanee, or wallaye? And is there really big crawdads in there too?
