I was duck hunting with a friend in an aluminum boat. He had it sprayed with LineX bedliner to deaden the sounds plus less noise from the hull on plane. I tought it was a great idea for hunters and Fishermen both. I called Wayne from LineX of Puget Sound (lynnwood). He told me a 14 foot boat would run about 350.00 est.. Not bad. I may get rid of the old carpeting in my boat to replace with this stuff.. I thought it was a great Idea so wanted to pass it along. I wonder if it could be used on the bottom as well to protect from rock and stump damage??

Correction LineX was in Kirkland not Lynnwood. The Kirkland locations is owned by Hunter and fisherman..Ask Wayne about Salmon Fishing. He can tell you where to fish and how to catch them.

I wouldn't think about putting it on the bottom of a boat. It would slow it down so much...

It'd be just fine...on the inside.

Ive seen more than a few people get it put on the bottom of boats. It dosent slow the boat down at all. Atleast not enough to be able to tell. You can actually buy that product or one like it at automotive stores and do-it-yourself to save some money.

It would seem that LineX would slow it down so much. A buddy of mine put a keel guard on his Grady and it slows it down 5 mph...And that's not the only place I've heard it...
Even waxing the bottom of your boat makes a difference of a few mph

Cannondaler-Aluminum boats are rugged enough. Just stick to the inside of the boat...
