I've looked at multiple grocery stores recently and can't find it in stock.
Anyone have a good source for buying it in bulk in Seattle or the eastside?

i just buy Ice Cream Salt...

just get Ice Cream Salt then... its non iodized, Safeway, Albertsons, Trader Joes, Walmart, Fred Meyer, ect will have it... it comes in a red box and is made by Morton... it usually in the baking section right next to the other salts...

it looks like this... i use it for shrimp and such..

Costco. They sell non-iodized salt in 50lb bags for about three dollars.

Also, as indicated most grocery stores sell pickling salt, canning salt, or kosher salt. All of these are non-iodized.

Go to a hardware store and buy the water softening salt- the stuff I get is 99.8% pure salt . Ace hardware sells a 40# bag for about $8
