I've been spending quite a bit of time on Rufus Woods the last two weeks. I have heard this stuff can cause pitting, and corrosion on our vehicles, and boats. Last week when I came home over the pass I didn't wash my boat off. I did when I came back from this trip on Saturday, but it was too late. I had little pits starting to show. Anyway...just a heads up. If you like your boat looking good. Don't wait like I did. Hit the spray and wash right away when your trips over.

I won't wait again. Its funny...I have made a lot of trips all over, and in all kinds of weather. This is the first time this has happened, but usually I start cleaning things up right away. Its time to polish my hull anyway. Its starting to show some age. I bought some sharkhide when the boat was new, but decided I didn't want to use it.. They are proud of that stuff. I think I paid 60.00 for it.

BTW...The fishing was not bad. We had quite a few fish that went into the double didgits. I almost threw the biggest one back. It just shook its head, and came up like a cut plug. I guess its hard to put up a fight when ya don't have a tail....lol
