Early Run King Salmon Fishery Management: Public Meeting Announcement

On behalf of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Responsive Management would like to announce two public meetings on issues related to the Early Run King Salmon fisheries in the Kenai River and Kasilof River. Responsive Management has been contracted by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game to conduct an independent research study for the purpose of identifying issues, concerns, and potential management solutions regarding the fisheries. The meetings will be held at the following times and locations:

Sunday, October 20 (7:00 pm) at Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage
Address: University Drive, Anchorage, Alaska 99508
Atwood Center (north side): go to the Center Building of the Atwood complex, then go upstairs to the right side of the building.
Tuesday, October 22 (7:00 pm) at the Kenai River Center in Soldotna
Address: 514 Funny River Road, Soldotna, Alaska 99669
These public meetings present the opportunity for interested individuals to express their opinions on future management directions for these fisheries.
