Just purchased a older 12 x 14 canvas hunting tent. It's pretty dirty and moldy. Any suggestions on how to kill the mold and clean this thing up a bit. Thanks for any replys...

Use regular water, bleach and then Lysol. If you have a garage do it in there or wait until summer time. Make sure you have a good scrub brush to scrub with. That is the only way I know to clean a field tent.

If you clean and scrub a canvaas tent I'd recommend treating it with a canvas preservative after it dries. It will help keep it water resistant and help prevent a future mildew problem. you can order CanVak from Cabelas and I am sure there are other products that you could purchase locally that do the same thing.
