Ok, I have a bit of a sob story. A good friend emailed me a few days ago and I almost cried....here's one of the images he sent....

There were three other pictures in the email. In total, there were two rods and two reels completely destroyed. Both custom builds from 20 years ago. One was a Loomis 1141 GL3, and the other an 11'6" SCII 4-10. These were easily his favorite rods; both sentiment and function accounted for his love for them. He had left them on the car, and his wife, in her haste, didn't notice them. She was in a rush to run some errands. They ended up in the middle of a VERY busy street.....the rest is, well, a tragedy.

I'm trying to help track down a replacement for the Loomis. He's hoping to somehow find either a GL3 or an IMX. Please let me know if there's one out there......

We're both located in Sacramento, CA, and would be more than willing to accommodate shipping charges. Luckily, it's only a 9'6" rod, so it's not oversized.
