Has anyone been hunting birds east of the mountains?
Looking for any info on Pheasants.
Thanks.

I hunted the Snake breaks on the opener and it was very slow. I'd stick to the basin.

Hi guys...I just migrated here from another board which shall remain nameless... This seems like a nice place.
I hunt upland birds in the basin about 4 days a week. This year has been tougher than most, but slightly improved from last years zero habitat conditions.
This year, public land has offered the best success for me- but of course, I am not sharing those locations! I also belong to a couple "clubs" in the basin- I do not recomend the Royal Booster Hunting Program and will not be joining next year. It was a big waste of $200. I've averaged 1.5 birds a day with apx. 7 limits thus far. Not too bad with just a 9 month old pup!! He is a genius, just like his owner =)~
Not sure what info you wanted, but that's a general overview.
