Checked the W.D.F.W. website.the preliminary hunting seasons are posted if your interested.
I hate these swing years.Takes too long for them to get the seasons set.Where I work we are supposed to post our vacations by the first of the year.Pretty hard to do when nothings set till the middle of march.Fortunately I took an educated guess and hit it pretty close.
Looks like the bowhunters got some pretty good allotements in for special permits 61 for Toutle,12 for Margaret
Smokepoles got 15 and 5 for the same units.

Do you think everything is pretty much set in stone . I hate how wa state is so late getting there act togethor too. It really sucks to put in for the early elk archery draws and get 3 weeks notice if you draw. Surely with the computerized system they could improve that. What is your opinion as far as the difference between toutle and margaret tags for bow. Obviously a long wait for the margaret is it worth it I've never been there but put in every year I'm up to 6 or 7 points this year. Talk later.

The toutle and Margaret are almost just right over the hill from my place. For my 2 cents, the toutle is better then the Margaret.
