I got to thinking the other night about deer hunting.

I have only been about 5 times in my life and have found while it is fun, I would rather fish the rivers then spend my time hunting. I am not into the kill as much as I am the camaraderie of the people I used to hunt with. They moved so now my hunting is curtailed.

Anyway to the point.

You can walk through the woods and stumble upon a deer.

You can find a place to sit and wait for a deer to wander by.

Lastly you can find a place to sit and have friends you are hunting with PUSH the deer towards you.

For all you serious hunters, do you consider the PUSH style of hunting any less sporting the other types?

Just curious on your opinions

Just for my 2 cents, I really don't like the push or the deer drive way of going about it. Cause if your buddies are at one end of the timber pushing the deer to you and your on the other, well if you so happen to shoot a deer that way, one of your buddies is some where behind that deer. So you most likely just shot at someone. Get what am saying?
I also don't really think its very good sporty way of going about deer hunting.
