I read today that they are going to do a "test hunt" this winter for hunting cats with dogs!!!! It's limited to something like 100 cats in 4 counties.
Finally a "test fishery" that isn't for the tribes and it serves a great benefit for us hunters to boot.

It's about time. Talked to a friend in Oregon and he was telling me that the deer population where he hunts down there is getting destroyed by cats. I can't imagine that isn't the case in our state in some places as well.

Is this on the west side or east. I believe they've been doing some hunts in the northeast. Sounds like they have a serious cat problem over there.

I read that also.I couldnt believe it when they shut down the dogs.I've never hunted cats.But sure hope the opportunity arrives some day.

Yup. All my buddy's with hounds are stoked.

Hunting anything with dogs is cool with me.
