This thread could be a classic.
How about booby traps? Electricity? Soft air claymores? You are only limited by your imagination here.

I only ask one thing..............................Put up a GoPro, have it rolling while you shoot your customers, while your being cuffed, and stuffed. The girl friend screaming in the back ground, an old rott pissing on the cops tire, and a bunch of cats wondering around the yard would really add to the entertainment value. 2MANY, you just painted the whole picture for me, and you NAILED IT!

i had thought about that DF, my brother has a pretty nice Tippmann that is really powerfull i could use... but what if the person pulls out a knife? or a gun? that was my thought with the bean bags...
i know i cant just run outside and start shooting at people, my intentions with this were exactly what i said, if i needed to use my shotgun, atleast they would have the remote opportunity to have a chance at survival, vs me using a 3 inch slug... i would prefer to not have bone fragments shot into my leg while weed eating or doing other yard work...
i dont want to hurt, or kill anyone... but im getting really sick and tired of losing things that i bought because someone else cant figure out how to get them legally...
i had a 700+ dollar Weber BBQ once.... ONCE... i also had a nice weed eater before i had to go buy another one, i also had a bunch of nice tools for doing the rockeries and irrigation work and other such stuff, i also had alot of other things... as did my neighbors... they also steal peoples mail... and this isnt just within the last week, this is within the last 5 years... noone has done anything about it...
im not going to be stupid about this, a couple people suggested grabbing some Bird Blunts (rubber caps for your arrows), then use the bow... well an arrow comming out of a 70# Twin Cam will paralyze you if it hits your spine, if it hits the base of the neck, it would be lights out, forever... im alot more accurate with a shotgun than i am with a bow now, i havent shot tourneys with the bows in a long time, so i have lost my edge... so that isnt an option...
when it comes to things like this, my temper is going to be a problem, with a shotgun, or even a pistol with live ammo, i would be very cautious with how i acted, as i know the outcome... with a bat, in a confrontation, i would likely get myself in trouble... and even with a paintball gun, i would likely get in trouble because i have ZERO problem shooting someone in the face with it that is stealing from me.... and they could go blind and sue me.... with a shotgun i would have to be carefull, and it would be used as a last resort, well, an initial "WTF are you doing here, are you trying to get shot", then, see the response...
my neighbors that have been getting hammered to, one, the lady is 67 years old, and still works at Fred Meyer, the guy, is in his 40s early 50s tops, was a M60 Gunner in the Army, and he cant do sh!t, because he has Liver Cancer, and gets radiation treatements, hes been sick as hell the last week because of it... do you understand how a person would feel if they were a gunner in the Army, and couldnt even protect their family because they are too sick from Chemo? all he does is help people, run out of gas for the mower, he will fill it up, having car problems, he will take a look at it, and people are just taking from him... they siphoned out a full tank of gas from his Grand CHerokee, and continue to steal it from his Ford he thinks, because its using way to much gas he says... the full to empty tank in the Jeep is a no brainer, because he is waiting on a set of heads to get here, so it hasnt been driven... yet its empty.... there is even a post on GF right now about a guy that had his truck tank filler hose cut off so they could siphon the gas out of it, and that was at Lake Kapowsin, which is down the road a little....
i am sick and tired of this bullsh!t, im not trying to "protect Pierce County", but i sure as hell will protect my house, and my friends and neighbors houses.... 5 years is too long to deal with the same old sh!t... if the police will not protect us, why should i have to live in fear of something getting ripped off, or, what happens when theres nothing left outside, that they enter the house? why should i even have to deal with this? 5 years, seriously?
i fvkcin HATE Pierce County, ive had tweakers at the river pin my GF in with their cars because they thought she was the FBI watching them... then they saw me coming, and wanted no part of it... about 20 people on the river got a kick out of that one... she now carrys a CS Gas/Pepper Spray/Uv Dye combo squirter i bought for her.... and even without a CPL, i have been carrying to the river every time i go, because theres a loophole, and its legal for me to do so.... ive just had it, and honestly dont know what the hell to do anymore...

i have brandished a fully loaded AK-47 at one point at a group of 5 of them, they ran, got caught by the police, cops came by and laughed when told that i did that... they never even spoke to me directly... Another classic "doesn't make any sense" sentence from Redhook. Dude, pay some [Bleeeeep!] taxes. Cops ain't free. You are always bragging about your expensive stuff (you're like a drunk, delusional appaiser though) yet you have no real job. Perhaps tweakers want into your house because you spend a majority of time telling/showing people all of your [Bleeeeep!] and claiming it to be priceless. I also laugh at Chuck's "jfc" but mainly because Redhook started his PP career by claiming Chuck S as a friend.

You may want to consider starting a tweaker encampment.
You could call it Pierce County.
Yeah, but then Lewis County would be jealous. Fish on... Todd

How about putting your stuff away, say garage or shed, and locking it up rather than leaving your tools outside where they are easy pickings. I don't care for tweakers either but you can minimize their opportunities with a little bit of effort.....and common sense.

Damn Tweaker must have really wanted a hot dog to steal a $700 weber, since those are not small. I guess that big ass dog you brag about aint worth a [Bleeeeep!].

I don't care for tweakers either but you can minimize their opportunities with a little bit of effort.....and common sense. it was locked up, in the shed, that was broken into, along with my neighbors... my new BBQ is chained to the deck with chain that you would use for towing cars, or tying down heavy loads on semi trailers.. something like 12k breaking strength not sure could be more... ive put alot of effort into protecting my stuff, only to be slapped in the face... and frankly, im fed up with it.... DF, good point... ill probably go that route, that way i can atleast shoot them with something that will hurt like hell, and wont kill them, and isnt even considered a firearm i dont believe... i dare them to call the cops and tell them that i shot them with a paintball gun while they were robbing us... thanks...

Frozen paintballs take 'paintball' to a whole 'nuther level.

They cutting chains and locks at night or during the day? you would need a torch to cut the chain, and im using a funky style Master Lock that is nearly impossible to cut, the circular ones used for cargo trailers and job boxes and such... the majority of the incidents are happening at night, but a couple have happened during the day, recently my neighbors shed was broken into in the afternoon while i was gone fishing, he was getting Chemo, and she was at work... the also used to use the roads, but one of my neighbors has cameras (like 10) hangin off his house, so now they come in through the woods and noone can see them.... my whole point is, i shouldnt have to do anything, i shouldnt have to spend money on cameras, or security lights (that i cant attach to the back side of the house due to wiring issues untill i have a friend come out and wire it), all i can do is catch them... then what? i caught a few little theivin azz 19 year olds down the road after they were trying to get into my truck for my stereo from what my neighbor saw... i had the .38, and they knew it because i put it on the dashboard when asked "if i was packin" (yes, the idiots seriously asked that)... then they came back through and the AK incident happened, 2 of em went to jail, and i LOLed.... im not LOLing anymore...
