With the State changing Marriage certificates I had a thought. Why change the traditional one? Why not just add a couple.

You could label the current one Hetrosexual. Leave Bride and Groom. Even some perverts might prefer use that one.

You could have another labeled Homosexual. You could leave the spaces for Bride and Groom blank , so that the perverts could fill those spaces in with anything they like.

Might need another labeled Other.

I think they should put spots on there for "Dumbass" and "Dipshit", too.

I guess I don't agree with gay marriage (probably a bigoted point of view but at least I am honest) but I also understand that it doesn't affect/change anything in my marriage or life. I voted in support of it, because by saying no I would possibly be preventing others from being happy and even though I don't agree with it, the actions that cause their happiness has no direct influence on my life.

I have been married for 21 years and haven't seen my marriage license since a week after I said "I do", so I don't see the wording as all that important.
