Just a minor detail, but Riffe Lake is in Lewis County. Imagine water level is low and more fish should be dumped in there over the next couple of months because the salmon hatchery dumps excess silver smolts into the lake. This should improve fishing if it is not already.

I understand the water level is low. This could make launching some boats tuff. I guess they are getting ready for a big runoff.

I was able to find some info with the sight mentioned above and allso by looking through the WDFW page. it looks as though the lake is down 40' I'm not really familiar with the lake but from what I have found out it is very low but rizen. I checked the flow coming in the lake and comeing out of mayfiled and there is much more coming than going and from what I have learned that makes good fishing when the water level is coming up. It does sound like the upper end is very dificut almost impossible to launch at. If I remember right the launch at the lowere end is just the old road that winds out into the old valey before it was flooded. it should still be launchable. we launched on it when the lake was low one year and it was just fine. I didn't make it up this weekend but did get my tackle together for this coming weekend. If anybody hears anything I would really apreciate it if you could pass it on to me. thanks
