I'm selling custom vertical Steelhead rod racks on a case by case with a 50% down payment. Case by case meaning that you can choose the species of wood and color of finish. Non stained wood is also an option. The wood in the pictures is sanded Fir & Hemlock and unfinished but ready for stain. Or if you or someone you know is talented, paint or stain the horizontal pieces and paint a Steelhead on the ends.

The rack holds 20 rods, that's 20 butt sections and 20 tip sections side by side. The dimensions are 40"L x 36"H x 11"W.

I'm asking $150.00 for the unstained Hemlock.
Thanks for looking

built a quilt rack for my mom that looked alot like that. Chinook.
I used dowels for the cross pieces and too small of screws so it is always getting loose and rocks back and forth. A couple of vertical 1x4s running from side to side above and below the top cross piece would really stiffin it up for the long run.

Achewter, I could see where you would need extra support to keep it from racking diagonally with dowels. I can assure you that these rod racks are built very stout & rigid.
