Has anyone heard of the 'steps' or 'staircase' on the Skagit by the Cape? I know where it is, but not sure how to fish it- any suggestions? I usually use drift gear and occasionally spoons, floats, and jigs. I'm new at fishing the bigger rivers, so any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Nice holding water around the steps. I flyfish, but have seen boondoggers hook fish by driftfishing there. No secrets here; just fish any of the good looking holding water with any of the methods you prefer. They should all produce when the fish are there.
