Well, hit my Zipperlip on Friday.
Score: Steelhead 3, hapless fishermen 1.

We had two fish break our lines in trees, with no chance of stopping them. One ripped me thirty yards up two three foot waterfalls, actually jumping them with full pressure on ten pound test leader trying to pull it back down. That one jumped into a tree and my buddy's attempt to grab it turned into a broken line. Oh well.

The other lost one broke my buddy's hook. I told him that's what you get when you save fifty cents and use VMC's.

The only one we landed was hooked in a big bathtub hole, no trees. Still ripped up and down with several jumps. We got lucky on that one.

These were the hottest fish I've seen in a while, and I don't think any of them were over nine pounds. What a rush.

I hope some of you had as much fun as us this weekend, preferably more productive.
