I know he is a love him or hate him kind of guy. Got kind of curious about how he was doing and did a quick search and found this article. Didn't know he was diagnosed with cancer too. http://www.denverpost.com/business/ci_17102183

Love him or hate him... The guy has traveled a difficult road last couple years and it is amazing that he returned at all. I didn't hear of his cancer but I expect he would attack it the same way he did with all his other challenges.
My hat is off to a guy that tries hard.

The guy has more guts than a slaughter house. Yeah, he can be obnoxious, but he did it his way and he went hard. And he worked hard to stop the catch and kill billfish tournaments.

the hog kill with a knife really pissed people off... i thought, well, it was brutal yes, but he literally hunted how one would have thousands of years ago... so i thought it was great...
after he had his stroke, i cant remember how big it was, but he caught a Marlin i think on 2 pound test (leader), and it was a decent sized fish as well...
the bow hunting pheasant with a recurve was awesome too...
people sometimes need to grow some nuts and stop being such pussys...
they could learn alot from Mr Barta
