That's an awesome rod! You should have no problem with that rod casting those flys. I just picked up the same exact B2X myself. What line did you match it up with? Have fun! That rods a boomer!

Sweet setup... Just picked up a Bauer to myself to balance my Meiser 7/8

Definitely a "boom stick!" I like ir better than my Scott A3! Ran a 540gr Skagit and had no issues with 10' of T-14 and larger Intruders. Had a slow short tug and didn't stick it, but it was a great day in the sun. The cheeks even got a little rosey!
