I booked a fall chinook trip on the Sol Duc for my husband's birthday present that was scheduled for November 6th. I was leery booking a trip with someone I had never met, but was very impressed with Bob's web page. My husband left Friday to scope out his cabin and the river and was supposed to return Sunday evening. I was very surprised to see him home Saturday before noon, and was concerned his fishing trip had not gone well. He explained to me that he and Bob met early Saturday morning and Bob told him that the Sol Duc hadn't been producing the kind of fishing he was there for and was on it's way out, and with the hordes or people, it wouldn't be the experience he was looking for. "I'm not a Jesse James guide service", said Bob.He suggested we rebook. From a wife's point of view, that took a pretty
classy guy and I just want everyone who reads these posts to know that Bob is an outstanding gentleman in my eyes.
