I have fished the salmon river a few times over the years. But have had varried
succes. Does any know the prime time of year to fish this stream. Also has anyone fished
the tribal waters? What are the costs? and who to contact? I know it all depends on the weather,But I am planning a Gentlemens only
trip and need any helpful ideas.Remember "SET

Usually Dec. Jan. are the best for Hatchery steelhead on the salmon River. However, with all the rain the hatchery timing will be sooner, like it was last year. Also the Queets tribal fishery has only been 1 day a week for about a month now. That means the early fish will won't be hit by the nets. Should be a real good season. You can contact Letty at potter@olynet.com good luck.
