Can you fish the salmon river below or above the q1000 brigde without an indean quide? I hear people talk alot about fishing this area but I'm not sure what is on reservation land and what is not. I normally fish the park below and above the bridge. Any info would be great.

You can fish downstream of the Q-1000 bridge without an Indian Guide. About 15 yards downstream of the bridge there is blue flagging which is the state/reservation line. You can fish on State land for 3/8 of a mile. The boundary downstream 3/8 mile is not marked well. If you get into a canyon you have gone too far and are on the rez. Keep close watch on your scalp.
