Just another tactic by so called conservationists to effectively end hunting in california. Of course supported by the Dems.

In Arizona the Fish and Game agency provided (at least used to) lead free ammunition for deer hunters in the areas where condors fed on the gut piles and lost animals. How does having a lead free, workable, substitute ban hunting?

Heck, as i understand it the military has been developing lead free ammo for the troops to use.

Here's what I see that's wrong. Ban lead for hunting....OK, but not for range use, since it is twice the price for using an alternative. Condors don't hang around to pick up dead things at the range, at least not often I would think.

The argument of making things "easy" for governments' satisfaction isn't obligatory. Handy, but that shouldn't be the main concern, should it?

I am not sure there is a lead free and true workable, affordable substitute for lead. Part of an article I read said..........

I personally other than steel shot, have not used any type of substitute But a friend of mine who tried using solid copper rounds on a wild goat hunt said he could not knock one down very well as the solid loads did not expand and did very little damage.

I do remember when they banned lead use in the California Condor areas, Actually a good thing as the Condors were very close to the brink. This time it's Statewide.
