Yep, get another one.
I didn't and that is not recommended.
Each one is unique and will have it's own special traits that will produce cherished memories.




I'm pretty sure dogs go to heaven.

In James Michener's "Chesapeake" there is a chapter called "The Watermen".
In that chapter is a wonderful dissertation about the Labrador Retriever and the Chesapeake Bay Retriever.
I've been fortunate to have had both breeds impact my life.
They are both very special breeds.

You might want to consider a Chesapeake for your next one.
First time I laid eyes on Kruzer, with that curly hair back and wide head, I thought "Dayam, that there's a huntin' dog."
Fired a tennis ball straight at him and he snagged it like a soccer goalie.
