This is pretty much raw footage from Teahpoo this week, and it is so gnarly!

Watch about 5 min in when the green boat nearly gets trapped inside. It won't be too long before someone dies out there, now that it is so popular. I imagine it won't be a surfer either, it will probably be a girlfriend or wife shooting pics from a guide boat. Or possibly a ski driver with engine problems.

Pretty exciting to watch, that wave is so heavy.

Very cool. Almost makes me want to try it. Almost. The lessons would be hard with waves like those.

Sure is cool watching those folks do it.

Surfers have been drowning there for years.

Wiki says 5 surfers have died there since 2000. I imagine it is from getting knocked out on the reef.

I just got a new SUP and I cannot imagine trying to trim one of those big slow things on a wave that fast. Pretty sure the first SUP is Laird.
