Is there anyone willing to tell me about their fishing experiences on the Nooksack river, especially the N. Fork. I am mainly interested in knowing what would be a good drift for flyfishing steelhead. I have heard many different stories; the latest from the hatchery was that they just recently began releasing steelhead in the N. Fork within the last two years. Are there enough wild fish in the N. Fork to make things worthwhile? Thanks for any insight.

The float from Mosquito Lake Rd to Hwy 9 has some decent fly water, but it changes drastically with every high water. Hit/miss for hatchery fish. Nuf sed.
