I am headed up to the Sol Duc next weakend and I am wondering how the fishing is up there and what there catchin them on.

havent been there myself but have herd from guide friends of mine and its been pretty hot.

Was on the middle run Friday and saw nothing, hooked nothing, but the river was a beautt. Two local guides were also fishen that stretch, neither hooked up. I know it was doing pretty good up to about 3 days prior to that.
Pluggin mostly, with bait in between!

Could you guys please specify and tell me where it sucks and where it's good at?

Right now it sucks everwere on the river, reports are down and not many fish being brought in. That week after X-mas was good!!! lots of Snider's and a few brats too! When reports are down people tend to stay tword the lower end in hopes of new fish, but when there in they seem to spread out more in the river. So unless more fish come in and Bob's reports get better I'll be on the lower sections lookin...
