Just curios if any one of you gents out there that has had this procedure done eperienced swelling afterward? I had mine done yesterday and now I feel like I'm carrying an orange in my jockstrap.
Should I be concered or will it subside?

put a sack of frozen peas in your panties and wait a couple of days before you get back to moving around a lot.

Only one orange? I felt like I had two grapefruit. Like JG said, frozen peas, ice pack, or whatever. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on your perspective, the condition is not permanent. Soon you will enjoy the relief of more sex more often without the concern about her being knocked up.

keep ice on the jewels and drink lotsa bourbon.

Probably some blockage. Nards are gonna swell up to the size of a watermelon and probably be in excruciating pain for a few days until the blockage goes away.

I recommend a lot of ice, pain killers, and some time in the bed watching some Netflix movies for the next couple of days.

Oh, and expect some pain the first time you get your nutt. Won't hurt too bad, but it's not going to feel all that great either.

Had my done 25 years ago with no complications. I may have told this story before.....after the surgery I asked the nurse how soon before I would be sterile and she said after I had sex at least 15 more times so to be careful. I quickly answered, "so by tomorrow then?" Showing she had no sense of humor, she glared at me and said no.

I had two cousins who had the procedure done in Wenatchee. Both had complications...bruising and swelling, but I told them, what do you expect at a combination John Deere Tractor repair/movie rental/urology clinic?

Had mine done about 8 years ago. For the most part, the application of the local anesthetic at the beginning of the procedure was the worst part. Thank God, that only lasted a few seconds. My recovery went pretty well, but I did have one incident where I went to sit up fast and got a flashback to the pain of the anesthesia. After that, it was frozen peas for me for a few days.

Swelling, although not uncommon, can get bad in a hurry, so I'm told. Get off your feet quick (but don't try to get up too quick) would be my advice. As Sg said, there are better days ahead.

And then either end up paying child support for 18 years or become dead beat dads. grin.

My girl had her junk fixed so my junk could remain intact.

Had mine done on a Thursday. Had a Garage Sale on Friday & Saturday. I sat in a lawn chair, alternating between peas and whole kernel corn, took some pain pills, and I had fun haggling my ass off. We made $1,200.00.

Try the tighty whitey's for a few days. They like a little support after the procedure.

I failed to mention in my first post that I was under general anethesia because there was another issue that got fixed while the doc was down there so I do believe he was a bit more heavy handed than he would have been had it been just a vasectomy done under a local. Cool part is I have had no pain whatsoever during the process.... only the swelling and bruising when I got home. (swelling is going down!) Sorry I have not been able to respond faster... for some reason I cant login from my phone. That being said thanks again for all your "support".... And Mr. Parker you did get me thinking
