Anonymous Unregistered	I carry a tube of chapstick and coat the top guides...works good. I also use a silicon grease for my reels that doesn't harden under cold conditions. ------------------ Marty www.steelheader.net marty@steelheader.net

Anonymous Unregistered	To keep my guides from freezing up I always suggest a good set of bootfoot waders and a wool shirt. I pulled out the vaseline on the Nooch once and I almost got thrown out of the boat. Use caution!
