RVW, I was very impressed with Putin's article. Any of the politicians who in the MSM say they are offended by it are simply trying to apply negative spin on it's content. I actually admire Putin. He's no saint, but his Moral compass appears to be working just fine.

Another interesting perspective: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-09-12/war-now-inevitableMy Hope is that our world leaders who are certainly fully aware of this cycle can somehow find a different path/solution.

He is. You don't trust Russia and ex KFB playboys for any reason. Remember all the libs that had a good laugh when Romney said Russia is our biggest foe during last year's election? The dude was right about a lot of things in hindsight. Just sayin'

American exceptionalism ? While the rest of the world is catching up in some areas we have lead the world in innovation for 100 + years. We kick ass in sports business and education . The rest of the world comes here to learn to be doctors , computer engineers etc then go home to expand our exceptionalism to their cultures. If you don't see this you have not seen the world. When we see 1000's of Americans moving Russia and poaching fish and game like the Russians do here Putin will have a point . He owned Obama and Kerry on Syria but that is not much of an accomplishment . The score is still Russia 1 the US a million over the last 100 years. American media and entertainment has made it hip to bad mouth the country lately. It's easy to run it down hard to make it right again. Putin may have made some valid points but he 100% does not have your interest in mind in doing so . Only a fool would embrace his words in any fashion. Obama is 100 % at fault here not America.

Chuck
Japan has done a decent job since WW2. How ever they are not all that innovative they copy what others have done. They are great at manufacturing. Their manufacturing prowess was an American innovation introduced by Charles Deming after the war. In the 60' s prior to the TQM process they were the laughing stock of the world and the term "jap crap " defined their output. China is the talk of the town right now but what have they invented since paper, gun powder and Chinese food? Having cheap labor a willingness to whore out your people and environment is not an innovation. Especially when you have more genius level IQ's than anywhere else in the world.

Detroit doesn't represent America. If FP could be a citizen of any nation what would it be? Tropical countries and Canada excluded.
