A friend of mine is cleaning out his shop and has some things that someone might be interested in. Read on:

Anyone you know anyone that does REEL Repair? I have 8 boxes of reel parts. Remember I started back in 78 and retired in 2000 and never threw any thing away. I well give it all away free no charge. I also have many repaired rods that I well sell for around 25 bucks apiece each and many are Lamiglas. Most of the rods have Fuji, Batson or Pack Bay guides or component parts. If you ask why I am doing this? I have ran out of room in my shop and my eyes are too tired to do reels, So I spend my time designing rods.

9.5'-10.5' slow or medium action downrigger rods are on my list, and I'd like to try some Batsons too, like their 9'6" or 10' downrigger rod. Tied them for gifts, but never fished them.
Let me know what kind of rods fit that category.

Could you give a list of salmon/steelhead rods 9' or longer?

If you don't find a taker for the reel parts I'm sure the guy selling used gear on 101 at the head of discovery bay would make great use of them. I think his name is Steve.
