I don't see the CNN article as being inflammatory, while I do see the Seattle Times article as being dishonest through omission.

Seattle didn't capitalize the S in Soldier a few times as well. I want to see toxicology results.

Maybe you and I read different articles. The Times article states the incident was initially investigated as a hate crime, and that the occupants of the car yelled at the guys walking, because they were white.

Not disagreeing with you on the hate crime aspect, though. If a white man gets charged with a hate crime because he mentions racial slurs, then the same treatment should go for a black man.

We 'read' the same articles. I admit I was skimming and missed part of the article. I'll be more careful in the future, at least for awhile.
