It seems that all of my regular fishing buddies are out of town, fished out or afraid of the cold, so, I'm fishing alone this weekend. Fishguts (my 18" foot Eastside) is already in Forks. If you are willing to provide a turnaround at Nolan Creek, I'll provide the boat ride. I'm planning to check back around noon.

Fishguts, room for two? If so, I'm interested. Only problem is my Saturday partner is a bugslinger, the staunch one-rodder type. From past experience it's tough trying to accomodate more than one type of steelie angler on a boat ride. I've been trying to call him for the past hour, since reading your post, to see if he's interested in a scenic trip. Just thought I'd give you a shout-out before you check back in at noon. I encourage others to respond to Fishguts, because I'm not sure yet.

If nobody volunteers you can also call Ted at the Miller Tree Inn at 360.374.5195. I think he charges $20 for spotting down on the Hoh.
