Ever since in did the latest OS7 update to my iPad, embedded vids in threads (i.e. Culture thread) don't show up. There us just a big black void. If I tap on it, it will eventually play audio, but no image, and you can't stop it once it starts. Annoying the hell out of me. Any suggestions?

I can only watch the first video with a cell phone. Seems like the new updates I just did to my phone won't allow me to watch all sorts of videos.

They show up just fine on my iPad running iOS 7.

Restart your iPad.

Don't worry, it won't be long until another underperforming and incredibly overpriced Apple product will come along and your underperforming and incredibly overpriced Apple product will be obselete, and you can buy the new one.

Thanks Parker, that actually worked.

Now...our e-mails are a whole 'nuther story. Been on the phone with Apple for an hour trying to get this straightened out. The update merged all our e-mail accounts together, shuffled all the messages, flagged them all (thousands!) as unread, and deleted all our folders. You can go through and flag blocks (not all) as read, but then as soon as you close the mail app, and re-open it, blam, they are all new messages again. Nothing like *ding* 2,317 new messages...

Aw damnit, ok Parker...troubleshoot this; embedded vids will show in a thread after the iPad is restarted, but if you close that thread, then come back to it, it once again only shows a black void, no vid. Restart, and whala, it's back... Until you close the thread.

Todd, I hear ya. Just glad this underperforming p.o.s. was a gift from a family member.
