The best was two guys beating each other unconscious over a salmon that they each had hooked on opposite sides of the stream.
There it was ham strung in mid air with two 12/0 snags into it connected to surf rods with 50-60 lb test, each guy yelling "DROP that fish MOTHER ****ER !!!!" . Finally one guys snag
breaks free and he crosses the river and the fight starts. The cops and EMS let them beat each other unconcho (like hockey linesmen) and then scrapped them into a van . History of the fly Shop (The Yankee, I believe) . The guy who owned it was a reformed alcoholic who hired other AA members to work for him. His only rule (besides no drinking) was
NO SMOKING in the shop. One day, the craziest of the mofo's who worked there (great shop by the way...) decided he just had to have a smoke, so he lit up in the back. The owner freaks out
and starts yelling at him whereupon the guy goes to his room (in the same building) and grabs a rifle and shoots the guy :shock:. But he ain't dead !! He crawls out of the front door and down the street
but the crazy guy gets to an upper window and begins plugging the guy as he's crawling down main st. He don't make it but the crazy guy holds off the cops for awhile until they get his
daughter to come down and talk to him. He agrees to give up but only after they let his daughter bring him some smokes........
