Any news from the East side of the state? WW, Tucannon and GR are the one I am really interested in. I hit the Grande Ronde Saturday. Way more people than fish (where I was at). The biologist (pipe-smoking John for those who may have met him) said Friday was a alright day, 5 people with 11 fish...always seems to be "Yesterday" (though I have no doubt he was telling the truth). Thanks in advance for the info.

Mike L. I'll call you, I have been buried at work lately and working on a new job

I'm thinking of hitting the S.Fork Clearwater saturday. I'll post my results monday. I havn't fished the Touchet or Tucanon in about three weeks. They should hold plenty of fish.

Dino,
Walla Walla is coming on. Got 3 last weekend, and 8 weekend before. Water was pretty high last weekend, but fishable. WW should get nothing but better as March draws near. My 8 year old has even managed 3 fish on his own this year. One two weeks ago on the WW. Havn't been to the Tucannon for a few weeks, but hear it is still pumping out fish. May get down there again next weekend. Call me and I'll show you some good water. I hate to maake guarentees, but the WW or Tucannon are pretty good bets right now.

Dino, I hit the Rhonde on Sunday for about 1.5 hours and picked up two. Tried a favorite spot that I knew would hold fish under the river conditions and got lucky. It looks like with the rain and warm temp the Rhonde is going to start really flowing soon so check the river flows befroe you go. Sounds like the smaller rivers may be a better bet during the high water. I think all of the rivers will produce good fishing if the conditions allow it!!

Good luck,

Duke
