Selling my Momarsh DP layout duck hunting boat with a brand new Stump Jumper mud motor. I decided to lease some property this year and just will not have time to use the boat. Next year I will need a larger boat since my son will start hunting.
This is the ultimate layout boat package. It will easily go through solid weeds in 1" - 2" of water. The mud motor turns it into the "4x4 of layout boats" and you can easily get to places that most other boats can not get too without massive effort. The motor has tons of torque to handle mud and sand bottoms and pushes the boat very nice at idle. I rarely have to give it any gas unless I'm in heavy weeds.
The boat is 100% brushed out with J. Stern raffia and has been dyed to make it blend in much better and give it that "dead grass" look. The grass is secured to heavy duty nylon fishing net that will last a life time. It also has a raffia cover for the engine.
I like this boat much better than the Aquapod or MarshRat as it is designed to hunt with a dog and use the mud motor. I can carry all my gear, 4 dozen duck decoys, and the dog without any issues. It is still light enough to easily be handled by a single person and fits into the bed of a 6.6" truck. I added a custom pull rope to the bow to make handling much easier on the hands and back.
I have $3100 invested and retail would be well over $3600 for this package. You will save over $1100 and tons of effort grassing it up.
