I had a joke for this one, but I better not. Seriously, the Green River Ordinance has to do with door to door solicitation. So if your fishing you should be fine. I think Green River is a county down by Mayberry somewhere.

I was told it was due to the green river killer back in the '70's and '80's. Something about a curfew. I could be wrong. Call King Co. Sheriff's dept. They started it.

I think Humpy has the correct info. I can recall seeing "Green River Ordinance enforced in this community" signs forty or more years ago.

I thought this ord.'s purpose was to restrict the use of Jake Brakes within a certain distance of town,therefore reducing the associated noise. Could be wrong though.....
