Seattle lost the game, but with the astonishingly accurate Vegas points added, they made winners out of many... Our standings with just 3 weeks to go: NickD90 4 Jerry Garcia 3 Jaydee 3 Chuck S 2 IrishRogue 2 RowVsWade 2 FleaFlickr02 2 Todd 2 Salmo g. 2 Banned User 1 Sky-Guy 1 Sol Duc 1 reefer 1 OceanSun 0 Dan S. 0 gvbest 0 This week we have the Seahawks playing at the NY Giants and are favored by 6.5 points. The forecast is 50/50 for SNOW in this game... Meanwhile, the 49ers travel to Tampa Bay and are favored by 5.5 points... As always pick HAWKS if you think they'll match up against the Giants by at least ONE more point better than the 49ers do versus the Buccaneers... Some examples: Hawks win by 7, 49ers win by 10 -- PICK NINERS Hawks lose by 3, 49ers lose by 3 -- PICK NINERS (they're a smaller spread) Hawks win by 10, 49ers win by 7 -- PICK HAWKS I'm picking the NINERS because I need to gain ground on the leaders and they're all going to pick the HAWKS - so it's time to gamble for some yardage... _________________________ The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. -John Buchan
