I was wondering that most of the time I see when i am out on the river I am usually the only kid out there. Cause every once and a while i will see a kid out there but they don't fish or they have no gear. But i would like to thank my father and everyone out there that has helped me become the fisherman I am today

I am a 17 year old kid from Aberdeen Washington. I fish more than most adults do. I own a 16' drift boat and a16' sled. I have more gear than most adults do and use it more. I own my own steelhead tackle business. I see probably a 10 to 1 ratio of adults to kids on the rivers around here.

I 19 and like Andy fish more than a lot of adults. The only thing bad about being young and fishing is that a lot of people don't take you seriosly. Last week for example I was down fishing the Rogue in southern Oregon and the dad of the kid that I was fishing with would not believe me when I tried explaing to him that native steelhead are more aggressive towards a fly than hatchery steelhead. Also tried telling me that hatchery steelhead are equal to wild fish. Try telling me that after you just got your but kicked by a big nate!!!

yeah, I'm 15 and i am a Rieter local and i usually don't see many people my age or younger, i do know one person that is my age but he doesn't go out much. I get usually get look at as just some kid and it's rediculous, and when i am usually out there i don't take crap from many people when they can be total river dorks... but it's nice to see that there are teenagers out there that do fish

I'm 16. I mostly flyfish trout and warmwater but i do a little steelheading.

Im 15 and I fish the colvos passage along with two other teenagers. Omost everybody I see out there has grey hair. I havn't seen any other kids out there.

Hey Kudakids...and gang! Just remember that one day you'll have gray hair just like those you are seeing. And I hope there are fish to fish for when you have gray hair. Have fun and help take care of the fish, too!
