Only thing wrong is the bus driver lost his job. Fkn kid had it coming and I'd hire the bus driver in two seconds flat.
The punk spit on the driver.....and that pushed him over the top. Screw metro management for not backing the driver. If you've seen the whole clip, you'll see how the driver tried to be nice, but the hung over punk wouldn't have it nice.

I hear ya....spitting on someone is assault, the driver should be promoted to head of security for Metro.

As a former Metro driver I can tell you that the driver is lucky that he missed with the wheel block. Those things are 8 pounds of very hard rubber and it is likely that he would have killed the f'r if he had connected. The driver went way over the top for simply being spat upon. I know that security is right there at the Renton Transit Center due to the "diverse" nature of those who frequent the place. Route 101 is one of the most likely routes to be assaulted on. I would expect much better of a veteran Metro driver.

Would you rather a driver stick up for himself or get spit on for giving someone a ride? I don't think getting spit on was in his job description.

Yes - 0:15 - 0:18...like a BOSS. Done! He could have got at least 5 - 6 good solid laying body / head kicks in there, but he showed restraint.

If he was fired, he has a wrongful suit against the employer. Spitting in someone's face is indeed, very much assault and he therefore has a physical right to defend himself. Did he go ape-[Bleeeeep!]? Yeah - he did...but if you are going to fight, why half ass it? Overwhelm your opponent and bring them down right now.

In order to be convicted the Prosecutor would have to show the bus driver didn't care about being spit on which I think he proved otherwise. The driver didn't know what the passenger was going to do next, maybe get off the bus turn around and shoot him. Total self-defense in my opinion. Sickening, I hope anyone who convicts the guy of assault would do nothing after being spit on. Makes sense.
