We are moving ahead with great response and enthusiasm in forming an organization that combines all aspects of fish and what having them does for our society. At this point there is no cost to be a part of this, the primary goal is to create an organization that has power because of numbers, designed to stand along side of other individual or groups to accomplish common sense stategies for all species of fish in this state. This is a temporary home as we build and is being given to us for the cause.

Fishermen, here is your chance to do something other than just complain & be complacent where it counts. This is what needs to be done to enhance sportsfishermen's rights. Remember to contact NSIA (National Sportfishing Industry Association- contact Buzz Ramsey at Lure Jensen in Hood River, OR.)for informational, & likely even some financial, support for sportfishing rights. Also, I suggest that you co-ordnate efforts with the Assoc. of NW Steelheaders too.- If you get the response that you should, contact me at www.ifish.net & I will post for Oregon fishermen to help out with your good causes- especially attempts to curtail wild Steelhead netting & other abuses, & to help keep sportfishing opportunity open when it's appropriate! - Steve Hanson
