Yeah I usually catch my first summerrun in the river I live close to about the 1st of April. The wild "springers" Ive caught as early as the last week of March. But is there any other rivers around WA that may have a early run also. They don't let us fish the river I live by between March 15th to April 15th. But private access gets me on the early hatchery summerruns!!!!

When's the earliest summer runs in Oregon? I've heard April and I start catching them in late May.

Early summer runs in Oregon?? I know of 3 caught already. The North or South santiam are good bets. Fishing those rivers depends on the mood of the Army corp of Idiots, They cant seem to make up there minds on how much water they want release.
Since the witers are still showing in good numbers I will stick with them for a while longer.
