The big summer run pic is directly in the middle of The Patch...the other one with the worm on the gill plate is from an "S River".

Fish on...

The Potato Patch has given up a few decent steelies over the years from what I understand.....

Those worms look sweet! No pics for me, Idaho steelhead don't eat rubber worms.

Having spent considerable time on west coast and Idaho rivers, PW seem to work equally well on both. Had some days when they wouldn't touch anything but a PW for the smaller A-Runs...

To me, they have always been a great change of pace or reaction lure when nothing else will work. The PW has never been my "go to" lure, but I'd be stupid not to carry a few.

Bent Metal,

Good to know! I suppose I shouldn't make asinine comments like that without throwing a worm at all.

I have yet to find a place they won't work, or a type of fish...winter or summer, wild or hatchery...that won't hit them at some point.

California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, B.C...haven't been to Alaska to steelhead fish yet, but I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't work just as well there.

Fish on...

Todd

No pink worm pictures, but I am a believer in the worm since the early 90s. Will take pic with those worms you have, if I win some.

Favorite fish pictures are of my favorite fishing partners. Mrs Jaydee with worm-eating Skychromish steelhead about ten years ago. Best we could do photography-wise during a February monsoon.
