As some of you may know, I've been a fan of AC/DC most of my life. I remember buying Powerage with the money my granny Ruth gave me to go down to the dimestore with. I used to go down there and buy a model and tube of glue, and then bring it back and build it. This time I bought Powerage. I had heard it the day before when I went to the movies with a girl I knew there and her boyfriend. Her boyfriend played Powerage on the way to the movie, and I was thinking "This is AWESOME!" My mom wouldn't let me play it when I got back because the album cover scared her. When I got home, though, I played that album until the groove wore out. It was then that I learned to appreciate the work of Ronald Scott - in my estimation, the best front man rock and roll has ever seen. After Bon died, AC/DC carried on because Brian Johnson stepped up and did an admirable job of fronting my favorite band. In my opinion, though, the albums with Bon were AC/DC's best - by some measure - because of the stories Bon told. From banging fat chicks, to being broke, nobody told the story like Bon did. Couple that with Angus on the lead guitar, and AC/DC was the band all other rock bands should have been measured against. I still wonder what AC/DC would have been had Bon not passed away before his time. That's not to take anything away from Brian Johnson, but you can't replace a Bon Scott. Since there can be no answer to that question, I'll end with a few lines from Bon that always make me smile. Feel free to post one or more of your own. There's only a thousand to choose from. "Feeling like a paper cup, floating down a storm drain................got myself a sailing boat, but I can't afford the gasoline!" "Well, if you're looking for trouble, I'm the man to see...............if you're looking for satisfaction, your satisfaction's guaranteed." "What I like I lick, what I don't, I kick." "When I left school and grew my hair, they didn't understand. They wanted me to be respected as a doctor, or a lawyer-man." "Gettin' robbed, gettin' stoned, gettin' beat up - broken-boned. Gettin' had, gettin' took - I tell ya folks, it's harder than it looks!" "She's got balls my lady - likes to crawl my lady - hands and knees, all around the floor - no one has to tell her what a feller is for." "Well, it's a dog eat dog - eat cat, too. The French eat frog, and I eat you!" "And it's an eye-for-eye - tooth-for-tooth. It's a lie - that's the truth!" "Wow, baby I ain't got much - resistance to your touch. Take off your high heels, let down your hair - paradise ain't far from there." "She was standin' alone - over by the juke box, like she'd somethin' to sell. I said 'baby, what's the goin' price?' She told me to go to hell!" RIP, Bon!!

Everytime I here that song I imagine what it would be like to be some Iranian nuclear physicist hearing that blaring over the loudspeakers as part of Stuxnet.
Make me proud to be 'merican.

"But how was I to know that she'd been dealt with before"
I can remember many good times at the UW getting wrecked with AC/DC blasting through the speakers.
Hard to believe Bon Scott has been gone for 34 years.

That's because you're a fuckin' goat.
If a fag like you showed up at an AC/DC concert, you'd just get mocked for your ascot and shallot vinaigrette anyway.
Go play some Barry Manilow.

My bro at WSU introduced me to disco and all that RnB funk [Bleeeeep!] but could recite the lyrics to this great ACDC song:
"Big Balls"
Well I'm upper upper class high society God's gift to ballroom notoriety And I always fill my ballroom The event is never small The social pages say I've got The biggest balls of all
I've got big balls I've got big balls They're such big balls And they're dirty big balls And he's got big balls And she's got big balls (But we've got the biggest balls of them all)
And my balls are always bouncing My ballroom always full And everybody cums and cums again If your name is on the guest list No one can take you higher Everybody says I've got Great balls of fire
I've got big balls Oh I've got big balls And they're such big balls Dirty big balls And he's got big balls And she's got big balls (But we've got the biggest balls of them all)
Some balls are held for charity And some for fancy dress But when they're held for pleasure They're the balls that I like best My balls are always bouncing To the left and to the right It's my belief that my big balls Should be held every night
We've got big balls We've got big balls We've got big balls Dirty big balls He's got big balls She's got big balls (But we've got the biggest balls of them all)
(We've got big balls) (We've got big balls)
And I'm just itching to tell you about them Oh we had such wonderful fun Seafood cocktail, crabs, crayfish (But we've got the biggest balls of them all)
(Ball Sucker) (Ball Sucker)
