I just wanted to find out your ratio of catching summer runs to winter runs. I only catch summer runs and have yet to catch a winter run even though I fish for both. I'm a banker that uses bait. I did go drifting in a boat for the first time last month. The boaters definitely have an advantage because they can cover alot more river, pull plugs, and drift bait or use rags, etc. I'd like to get a drift boat some day. However boats don't go where I fish for summers and when the river level goes down then they don't even fish the sections below me.
