I will be fishing the olympic Pen. the end of may and I was woundering if any body could recomend some rivers to fish. I will be flyfishing mostly.

GP all the streams are closed in May with the exception to the Sol Duc which is open for spring chinook only, all the steelhead will be on their redds so please avoid them if your targeting springers.

Thanks for the info. It looks like I was given some bad info. I will have to change my trip dates, What would be a good time to fish the Olympic penn. for summer steelhead?

While there are some summer fish available throughout the summer ( you can visit http://www.piscatorialpursuits.com/Gallerypages/hohsummer2.htm to see a pic of a Hoh summer fish on the June 1 opener that was caught the last year I summered here in WA ), but for the most part, the better fishing is going to be latter July through September (unless things have changed .
