Whats the scoop on Bank access at the Wind River? Is this pure combat fishing? Are weekdays better than weekends?

Thanks Bob. I just can't force myself to fish in the "combat zones" even when I know the fishing is great. You saved me a trip.

Just imagine corkies and swivels everywhere. Is it any better on Weekdays?

Sounds like a nightmare if you ask me, but then again sometimes very entertaining. I've seen some very odd stuff at stevens creek on the Humptulips. Bring riot gear and a homing beacon so friends and relatives can find your body.

Cracker dont get me wrong now!!! It may be battle fishing but its still quite fun to do and you get amused at the same time. I love a tight trolling situation. Tillamook is my fave! Wind is right up there except you have the same amount of boats in a tighter area. Banking is probably way easier than dealing with launches and heated tempers at 4:00A.M. anyway, I will be there Thursday thru Sunday and cant wait. So dont let the crowds stop you!

Fish on everyone, have a little patience and use your common sence...We can all have fun together!!!

Bob D.

One thing that I didn't add to my post on the Wind/Drano thread last night was the banker report. I did see 5 fish caught from the bankers on the point in the 2 1/2 days that we were there. What color?? What else plain orange, not orange with black strips, not the orange and lime green combo, not pink, just plain orange!!!
