Bob,
Thanks for the update. A couple of friends and myself were thinking about going Friday, just driving down in the morning and fishing from about 9:00 til early evening. May rethink it now, Mama's got lots of honey do's to keep me busy anyway. Starting to think about halibut later this month, anybody else???
Tight lines, Jeff
I went and looked at the fish counts over Bonneville after I wrote this and it looks good compared to other years but it has declined dramaticaly in the last 7 days (almost 6000 down to 2300). I wonder how much the Tribe netting has impacted that. I don't know about everyone eles but I did e mail the WDFW Director, Commission and the Fish Program Managers voicing my opinions about the Tribes and not the sportfishers getting a shot at the "excess springers" in the Columbia mainstem.
